Flowers
They are either selective, non selective or broad spectrum. A broad leaf herbicide is a selective herbicide that WILL harm flowers, vegetables and plants. It is designed to NOT harm grass. You are correct ...it is selective in killing the broad leaf weeds, which would include most flowers and plants. When in doubt read the label.
Reply:I certainly would be concerned that it would. I have many small violets and another small flowering ground plant that I had bought years ago and with all this years rain and a new irrigation system they have spread all over the lawn. I am planning on putting down a weed and feed to get rid of them. I unlike you, am hoping it works. Talk to someone at a local nursery and good luck.
Reply:The answer is yes. It will kill your garden plants. They are broadleaf plants.
Reply:it depends on the type and brand of hebicide you have, there are different herbisides that are flower safeaffiliate
