What are some easy plants,shrubs or flowers that I can plant outside in Texas and will look good year round?

Looking for something that doesnt require too much maintanance please

FlowersBirthday FlowersSympathy Flowersit all depends where in Tx you live. I live in STx so i planted rosemary, thyme, oregano, roses, Mexican heathers, Tiger Lilys and those do well.
Reply:As previously stated, Texas it a big place with lots of variation in climate and soil conditions. We've lived in West Texas, Houston and now East Texas. They are all different.





Your best bet is to contact the county agricultural agent and get the best recommendations for you area. In many parts of Texas the Master Gardener program and the county agent work together to answer just this type of question.
