Cut flowers and potted plants suck the oxygen from sickrooms!?

Cut flowers might but potted plants give off oxygen as part of photosynthesis. They don't want them because of the dirt nothing to do with oxygen.

Reply:Plants take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen, so they'd actually increase the oxygen in the room, providing they're alive and going through photosynthesis.

Reply:no, they add oxygen to the air. I think that one reason that sometimes plants are prohibited from a sickroom is that there may be mold in the soil, or pollen from flowers. If a person has allergies, it would make them feel worse.make up
