Do plants have feelings, do they suffer when we pick flowers or pick the plant itself for food?

What makes animals superior to plants?
Say
FlowersBirthday FlowersSympathy FlowersThey dont suffer bcz they dont have nerves...which means they feel no pain....animals are superior bcz they're animals...common sense will tell you they are inteligent creatures...how can you compare an animal to a plant and still wonder what the difference is??
Reply:I saw a show years ago where they somehow tested some kind of energy being given off of veggies and plants. Apparently they said if a murder was committed and you were in a wooded area when it happened, if you take the offender back to the same spot and test the plants around the crime scene the plants would basically give off a high panicked energy. They also said tomatoes screamed when you slice them and so does celery I am sure they all do. It never left my mind and I never heard more about it. Now doesnt that make you want to go have a tomato sandwich...
Reply:A practical question in my view. I did an experiment a couple of years ago under strict experimental conditions. I performed an experiment on several plants to guage their physiological reactions to "negative energy", such as anger, hate, etc, and "positive energy", such as happiness, praise, etc. There were also plants that were not given any "energies". This would be carried out with verbal comments as well as the feelings of the participants to give an aura of negative or positive. This experiment went on for six months with 3 sessions per day and the results were interesting. The plants that received the positive energy had an average growth 6% above the neutral plants and the plants that received negative energies had a retarded growth of 7% on average. The neutral plants were normal in their growth habit. Believe it or not, but there is a clear difference in the growth patterns of plants when given different "energies" from other life forms.

Thats my two cents.
