How can i make my rose plants to give big flowers?

severely prune the plants in the fall. As they grow in the spring do some additional pruning as required. When a bloom begins to fade cut it off. You don't want the plant energy being wasted on the rose hips unless you are going to use them.

Use a good fertilizer for roses in the fall and spring. Rich cow manure is great in the fall and mix it in well. Then in the spring when the plants wake up and start growing again use a good commercial fertilizer specially formulated for roses.

Pruning is one of the most important things to do with a rose bush.

You can find it at http://www.qvc.com

You only use it once a season. I use it every spring on my plants.
Reply:feed them well with plenty of liquid and solid manure, and to get big blooms remove the smaller buds and just leave the larger ones, and you will have large flowers.
Reply:My Grandma says bury banana peels next to them. She would know.
Reply:seems simple but miracle grow stuff really does work miraclesReebok
