Do taller plants grow more flowers?

I need this information as soon as possible.Thank you.

Reply:NO. Short plants can have a small amount of large flowers... or short plants can have a large amount of small flowers... same for the larger plants. They height of the plant plays no role in the determination of flower growth.

Reply:Not normally. Just this year I planted some marigold plants in my veggie garden to keep pests away and they are as high as my head and only have like four or five flowers on them. I've never seen marigolds this big especially since the seed packet said dwarf variety. To much nitrogen, I guess.loan
