I have a cactus garden full of the plants and I was wondering if these could be a special treat for him.

they do like aloa and you can also feed them the pads of opuntia cacti they are excellent for tortoises as they are low in protein, high in fiber and rich in lots of trace elements including calcium
Reply:Aloe is fine - tortoises especially enjoy cactus pads as well - and they are very good for them. (Never feed lettuce to your torts - very little nutrition.) Good luck to you and your tort! :)
Reply:Either stick to lettuce to be on the safe side, or ask a vet.
