Reply:The bulbs are grown from seeds. You can do this but it will take many years to produce a plant.
Reply:Hostas and Daylilies(Hemerocallis) are not actually bulbs like Daffodils and Tulips. They have fleshy roots instead of a bulb. Many Daylilies stay green all year round. Both plants divide very easily. And every plant that makes flowers(except weird hybrids) in turn makes seeds :-)
