Does talking to plants or flowers have any benefit?

I didn’t watch that episode of Myth Busters. But here is a web link… its myth #3 on the page...
Say
FlowersBirthday FlowersSympathy Flowerswhen we breathe on them, they actually benefit from it. I saw the episode of myth busters and they proved it so. Report It

Reply:The Mythbusters did a segment on this. They even diverged a bit a played music for their plants. Talking nicely IIRC did the best in promoting growth and taste in pea pods, but in the case of music... let there be rock.
Reply:Well, not if you%26#039;re cursing them out, no! But if you talk to plants and animals, you are basically caring for them, concerned with their needs, and that is beneficial. That there may be something magical in talking to plants is moot: do you care whether or not it is magic, if it works?
Reply:Yeah you don%26#039;t need humans to lighten up your chest. Humans suck after all.
Reply:yes
Reply:yes, you are giving carbon dioxide to the plants and they need it. I suggest that you use music too, it makes them grow faster for some reason.
Reply:Yes it does - however it is not what you say but howlong you talk to them - you see it may be because of the carbon dixoide that you are breathing all over the plant - it also maybe because you are increasing the air flow over the plant - I think that it is a mixure of both these things becasue many experienced gardeners do this!
Reply:Yes. Plants take in carbon dioxide and give

off oxygen. So when you talk close to them,

they receive the carbon dioxide from your

breath which they need.puppy teeth
