If you are looking to learn how to garden, you could contact your local County Extension Office and see if they offer the Master Gardeners Program. Usually for a nominal fee, you get 10-12 weeks of training (once per week) about gardening. It is very useful, and you get to know fellow gardeners. Good luck!
