Reply:We have house plants, and flowers (amazing what you can get at this time of year). We really look after them, talk to them, it pays dividends. We have a tiny back garden which is overshadowed by very tall trees, so not much can grow there. We really appreciate anything that will flower indoors. However, we resisted buying tete a tete daffodils in December, because they don%26#039;t belong to that time of year!

Reply:I have some shamrock that i grew from a cutting from last St Patrick%26#039;s Day and I have a cactus that I %26#039;rescued%26#039; from a bedsit I lived in 15 years ago. A tenant left it to die and I took it with me when I got my ne flat and it is thriving. It has even flowered twice since.
Reply:No - I am so bad with plants it is almost cruel to buy them. I see plants trying to crawl to the back of the shelves or look deliberately sick when I walk past them in B%26amp;Q and I could seriously kill a rock...so no. I don%26#039;t talk to plants. Even artificial, silk flowers lose their colours when they come to live with me!
Reply:YES! I do talk to my plants! My african violets are so cute and I always give them positive reinforcement so I can get them to bloom.
