I want to update my landscape. I want to replant something different in my front yard, the plant that are there now are dead.
FlowersBirthday FlowersSympathy FlowersAnything other than dead plants will work well. Look for low maintenance plants. Here in Australia we have water restrictions so I replanted my front yard with hardy shrubs and ground covers. They don%26#039;t need much watering or looking after and still look great.
Reply:What zone do you live in? What style house do you have? How much space do you have to work with? How much time do you have to tend the plants once they are in? Do you want perennials or annuals? There are so many options that it is impossible to give a thoughtful answer without further information.
Take this information to a local garden center and they should be able to point you in the right direction.
Good luck and happy planting.
Reply:Roses, Tulips. Some hints for planting are:
If your plant isn%26#039;t growing, it might need more air. Advice, though, do NOT put your tulip inside your house. Over time it gets poisonous if not in the right environment.
To get more air without changing looks entirely, wear shoes with sharp ends on them; you could glue/weld thumbtack blunt ends on, then when you walk on your lawn, you could step around and tiny holes will serve air.
Reply:I was at Lowes the other day and they have these really pretty dainty looking flowers called Icelandic Poppies. They are really beautiful. They grow indoors and out and don%26#039;t require loads of attention. Multiple colors also.
