I would like to plant some flowers in my yard for Autumn. Can you give me a list of hardy fall plants for MA?

mums, autumn joy sedum, aster, %26quot;subzero%26quot; pansies (hardy). These are most popular and hardy garden flowers. Most garden centers should carry them right now.

Also, a selection of different sized orange pumpkins looks really nice sitting here and there, groups or alone.
Reply:I hear pansies are a great fall flower. I don%26#039;t know about for your area though. I live in Oklahoma and we keep them almost all winter, it can get pretty cold here too.
Reply:Mum and asters are both good. Dark purple asters look really good with the yellow mums , by the way.
Reply:Mums are beautiful, they come in a large varity of colors and they are even pretty in the spring a large ball of green, have fun!
Reply:If you aren%26#039;t too far from Framingham you may want to check out the New England WIldflower Society.

Their trails are open until Halloween, it might be worth checking out their plantings. It%26#039;s sometimes easier to get a feel for a plant in the landscape than one in a small container in the nursery.affiliate reviews
