Planting flowers and covering Graffiti?

I have chosen a program at my school for a Gang ressistance program:Planting flowers and Covering Graffiti. The other choices are to run a potition, put up posters and others. I am probably going to actually do all but the potition. (there is also picking up trash) Who agrees that making a statement with the looks of my school is a G.R.E.A.T. (gang ressistance education and training) way to go against gangs and drugs, and make the school look less junky? Why? I think we should all do this to make the world a G.R.E.A.T. place!
